Kikis Court Fan Club donates to Hohoe Municipal Hospital Wards

Kikis Court Fan Club (KCFC), a Hohoe-based social group, has donated to some Wards of Hohoe Municipal Hospital as part of its activities to mark this year’s Yuletide.

The items, which included packs of cooked food, soft drinks, biscuits and other hospital consumables, such as standing walkers, hospital gowns, adult diapers, toilet rolls, disposal underwear and liners were estimated to cost GHC2,000.

The Wards included the Children’s, Lying-in, Male, Female and Labour Wards as well as the Theatre and the Emergency Unit of the Hospital.

Ms Golda Joan Dorkenoo, Executive Secretary of the Club, said the donation formed part of the Club’s “KCFC Cares” social interventions.

She said the Club would continue to engage in community social responsibility projects and activities as well as promote healthy living and networking for the youth in the Hohoe Municipality.

Ms Dorkenoo called on benevolent groups and individuals to extend help to the needy in societies during the Christmas season.

Madam Kutsanedzie Priscilla, Deputy in-charge of the Hospital’s Children ward, expressed gratitude to the Club for the kind donation, which, she said, meant a lot to the children on admission.

Madam Rebecca Ameworwor, a mother on behalf of mothers at the Ward, expressed gratitude to the Club for putting smiles on their faces.
